This year has started with another unexpected note, with the tragic deaths of hundreds of palestinians and little to no international action being taken to help them, even by middle eastern countries. Pledging money is one thing, but what the palestinian people really need is immediate ground relief. However, the year also starts with hope, with the passing of the american gaurd from Bush to Obama. It’s a historic moment for the world’s oldest democracy, and an achievement to be cherished by them. On that note, here is the speech from his innaugral address.
